Advanced Composites Group (ACG) offers a wide range of prepregs based upon reinforcements made from E-glass, high performance S2-Glass, Aramid, nylon and HDPE.

Typical reinforcements a variety of:

• E-glass fabrics, including 830gsm plain weave woven roving fabric.

• Intermediate strength glass fabrics, such as HiPer-tex™ plain weave woven roving.

• S2-Glass fabrics, including 810gsm plain weave woven roving fabric.

• HDPE (Spectra/Dyneema) fabrics, or other thermoplastic fibre fabrics.

• Aramid fabrics.

• Ballistic Nylon 285 and 460gsm plain weave fabrics.

Prepregs are normally supplied in roll form and are typically 50 to 100 meters in length at widths up to 190cm. Depending upon the resin system, the prepreg can be supplied either ‘dry’ for flat laminating or with a degree of tack for the moulding of contoured shapes.
