Based on the VTM®260 series resins, the unique ZPREG® format allows air to be removed from the laminate easily, leading to low void content mouldings. Excellent drape and handling characteristics combined with multi-layer construction allow significant reductions in lay-up time compared to conventional materials. A ZPREG® surfacing ply has been developed to give a pit free surface quality with vacuum only processing. When combined with a syntactic resin film based backing ply, the surface ply can be used to manufacture body panels that need minimal preparation before painting. |
