Aerovac Systems with its subsidiaries across Europe and Richmond Aircraft Products of the USA are two of the worlds leading suppliers of vacuum bagging materials to the composite industry. They supply a wide range of materials and technical support to a growing number of international customers.
They are part of the Process Materials group within Umeco Composites, which in 2009, acquired IPM, a leading manufacturer of vacuum bagging films for the composites industry and other markets. The product line includes bagging films, release films, peel plies, release fabrics, breathers, bleeders, sealant tapes, pressure sensitive tapes, vacuum valves and hoses for all temperatures and resin systems. The range also comprises low cost materials for wind turbine applications and PMA structural foams. In addition Richmond manufactures custom shaped heat-sealed vacuum bags for any size application.
