Sales Engineer

As part of our continued worldwide growth programme, we now have a new position based at our Engineering Division.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building, from an established base, the Division’s sales both in the UK and globally.

As well as managing a varied and busy workload, the successful candidate will be responsible for annual budget setting and account servicing, and for developing robust, long term business opportunities across a wide range of industry sectors.

Ideally, candidates will have several years’ direct sales management experience gained within an engineering environment and a good knowledge of the advanced composites industry. As well as being self-motivated and ambitious, the ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of business development and be able to commit to relevant travel.

A comprehensive understanding of the technical issues related to selling advanced composite hardware would be a distinct advantage for this role.

China based Sales Engineer (preferably in either the Tianjin or Shanghai areas)

The successful candidate will play a key role in building, from an established base, the Group’s sales throughout China and other territories in the Far East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing the delivery of the annual sales budget whilst communicating key events to the Regional Sales Manager, and be responsible for optimising an effective development strategy. Key elements of the role will include market research, promotional activity, and developing and maintaining excellent company relations across the customer base, whilst also developing new opportunities for material sales.

Supported by ACG's UK based sales and technical teams, you will be the initial point of contact for our customers in the region. Therefore, it is essential that you possess excellent communication and presentation skills, a superb level of technical knowledge within the composite market, the ability to balance a multitude of complex commercial and technical issues, and have proven experience of negotiating multiproduct deals.

As we are a UK based company, we would expect the successful candidate to be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
