Umeco Composites is Product Sponsor on the The BLOODHOUND Project, an international education initiative focussed around a 1000mph land speed record attempt. Composite materials, tooling, and the design and component manufacturing capability of ACG are being provided to help make this exciting challenge happen.

GAVIN CHAMBERLAIN

Umeco Composites proudly sponsors and supports Gavin Chamberlain in his challenge to run the 2012 Mount Everest Marathon, the ‘highest marathon on Earth’. Gavin is embarking on this challenge to raise funds for Edward Bright, an 11 year old boy who contracted the rare and serious Y-strain meningococcal septicaemia in February 2007. The illness claimed his legs, and both of his arms below the elbow, and also damaged a large proportion of his skin.
