Advanced Composites Group Inc (ACG Inc.), part of Umeco Composite Structural Materials (UCSM) - a division of Umeco plc, is a leading manufacturer of advanced composite carbon and glass fibre (CFRP and GFRP) reinforced plastic pre-impregnated materials (prepregs) custom formulated for component, structure and tooling applications in a diverse range of industries across North and South America.

Markets served by ACG Inc include: motorsport, aerospace, marine, automotive, construction, wind energy, defence, medical, and sports and leisure.

ACG Inc., which was established in the USA in 1990, employs approximately 120 professionals at its facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Product Range

ACG Inc's comprehensive product range covers all aspects of pattern, tooling, and component production in the composite market.

Materials offered include: tooling blocks, gelcoats, tooling prepregs, backing structures, adhesive films, component prepregs, and ancillary materials.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing of materials is conducted within the Tulsa facility and includes full range of equipment for the production and testing of hot melt prepregs and their associated products.

Research

While ACG Inc. has its own fully equipped laboratory facility for quality control and R&D programmes, Umeco plc's UK Technology Centre serves as the focal point for all product development. Under the control of UCSM, ACG Inc, ACG Ltd and the Technology Centre operate harmoniously to offer a co-ordinated service to clients across the globe..
